Section B

If you are an online student outside the Springfield area and therefore the MSO Test Proctoring Center is not convenient or the travel would cause a hardship, you can take your proctored test(s) at an alternative site that has been approved in advanced by Missouri State Online. It is the student’s responsibility to arrange for a proctored test site in this situation. The student is responsible for any testing fees assessed by the testing location used.

The site you choose cannot be a residential or private (e.g., a church) location. You must arrange a public location such as the following:

  • University, college, or community college
  • Secondary school
  • Public or academic library
  • Corporate training center
  • Other (contingent upon Missouri State Online approval)

If you are unsure or have questions about the appropriateness of a particular site, contact us at: MSOTestProctor@missouristate.edu

To request an alternative test site, select this link Off-Campus Proctored Testing Agreement Form and complete the form to initiate an off-site proctor and test site.
