MS Administrative Studies Program

The Masters of Science in Administrative Studies (MSAS) is a cross-disciplinary graduate program coordinated through the Missouri State University Graduate College. It is a 33-hour program designed to enhance administrative abilities with areas of emphasis in Applied Communication, Criminal Justice and Project Management.

Degree-seeking Graduate Students
This classification is for students who have completed a bachelor's degree and are seeking a graduate degree. If you have questions about the MSAS degree, please contact Dr. John Bourhis. For admission information, visit the MSAS and Graduate College web sites.

Non Degree-Seeking Graduate Students (postbaccalaureate)
You may take up to nine hours of the MSAS courses. If you wish to take more, you must be admitted into the MSAS program. Please contact Dr. John Bourhis, Director of the MSAS program.

The Non Degree-Seeking classification is for students who have a bachelor's degree and wish to return to take additional courses but do not wish to pursue an additional degree may enroll as postbaccalaureate students without providing transcripts. Postbaccalaureate students may take either undergraduate or graduate courses (courses numbered 500 and higher automatically carry graduate credit for students in the postbaccalaureate classification). The only limitation is that no more than 9 hours of graduate credit may be accumulated under this classification. A maximum of 9 hours of graduate credit earned as a postbaccalaureate student can be applied toward a graduate degree at Missouri State University, and this application of credit is contingent upon program requirements.
