Operational Auditing
Prerequisite: 60 credit hours; and undergraduate business majors must be admitted to COBA. Primarily a case study approach covering nonfinancial audits of efficient and effective resource utilization, accomplishment of operational goals, adherence to laws and regulations, fraud prevention and detection, integrity and security of computer systems, and achievement of program goals.

Professor of Accounting
Coordinator, Endorsed Internal Audit Programs
Dr. Cerullo has been teaching at Missouri State since 1988 and has been teaching internal auditing courses since about 1993. Last year, she taught Operational Auditing to students at the MSU China branch in Dalian; she spent three weeks in China.
Dr. Cerullo has published numerous articles in accounting and systems journals, including Internal Auditor and Internal Auditing. She has made numerous presentations at accounting and business meetings. Dr. Cerullo has always been very active in the Institute of Internal Auditors and has held most offices in the local chapter.
Dr. Cerullo enjoys reading many types of books, but primarily fiction. She is a regular “walker” and can be seen most days walking with her husband on the “Galloway Trail”.
