Eric Morris re-joined the Missouri State University Department of Communication in 2003 after his PhD work at the University of Kansas. His dissertation explores candidate strategies in presidential debates, and
his other research areas include argumentation theory, rhetorical theory, and political communication.
He is also the Director of Forensics for the Spicer Debate Forum. The Missouri State University debate team competes in NDT/CEDA style debate at both regional and national tournaments, and is consistently ranked
in the top 20 nationwide.
He teaches COM 328 (Persuasion), COM 350 (The Rhetorical Traditional and Contemporary Applications), COM 120 (College Debate), COM 320 (Intercollegiate Debate), and is slated to teach COM
622 (Argumentation as Communication). |
