Instructor:
Pula Rector
Paula received her graduate degree from Northern Arizona University in 2002. She was also an Instructor at Northern Arizona University where she taught Introduction to Criminal Justice, Criminology Theory, and Human and Cultural Relations in Criminal Justice. She also has experience teaching courses in Race and Ethnicity and Domestic Violence. Paula also worked with domestic violence survivors at a transitional housing facility in Flagstaff, Arizona. Paula’s research interests include feminist criminology, race, class and gender inequality, and the criminal justice response to pregnant drug users. She has published a chapter in “Vulnerable Populations” and is currently working on two chapters for a book entitled “Investigating Difference: Human and Cultural Relations in Criminal Justice.”
