Programming Approaches in Wellness/Health Promotion
Organizational and administrative approaches utilized in the conduct
of wellness/health promotion programs will be studied. Emphasis will
be placed upon the selection, development, promotion, conduct, and evaluation
of the various component of wellness/health promotion programs.

Gerald Masterson, Ph.D., is a professor in the Health, Physical
Education, and Recreation Department at Missouri State University. He heads and teaches in the newly developed Sports
Management
Certificate Program. His research interest have included anaerobic
power performance and training adolescents. He has published
that work in the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research.
He also
sponsors a track and field coaches’ clinic, runs a track
and cross-country camp, in order to decimate information and
collect data.
