Instructor: Dr. Cynthia Wilson-Hail
Dr. Cindy Wilson-Hail is an Associate Professor in the School of Teacher Education who has taught at Missouri State University since 1997. She earned her Ph.D. at the University of Arkansas – Fayetteville in Curriculum and Instruction. Her emphasis areas include reading, research, and technology. She is Director of the Master of Science in Elementary Education and works with graduate students completing their thesis or seminar research project, along with teaching graduate classes in Communication Arts, Differentiated Instruction, and Assessment. She teaches three courses for the College of Education online each year. Her goal is to provide rich courses for practicing or future teacher educators. Her research areas include literacy, writing, and constructivist approaches to teaching in the elementary classroom. She has published over 25 articles and presented in over 20 international or national professional conferences, including France, New Zealand, and Hawaii. Dr. Wilson resides with her family in Springfield and enjoys flying hot air balloons, sailing, and golfing in her free time. |
